Description

Haptic 3-DOF Pantograph Emergency Stop

The Haptic 3-DOF Pantograph Emergency Stop block monitors the emergency stop button of the Quanser Haptic 3-DOF Pantograph. The input is a scalar read from the digital line connected to the emergency stop circuitry. Use one of the HIL blocks to read these digital lines. The output of the block is a scalar which indicates whether the emergency stop is engaged (1) or not (0).

For the Quanser Q4 and Q8 cards, digital input channel 14 is typically used to read the status of the emergency stop circuitry of the Quanser Haptic 3-DOF Pantograph.

Input Ports

dig

This signal must be a scalar read from the digital lines connected to the emergency stop circuitry of the Haptic 3-DOF Pantograph.

Output Ports

stop

The status of the emergency stop button. The output is 1 if the emergency stop button is engaged i.e., the button is pushed and the amplifiers are disabled. Otherwise the output is 0.

Data Type Support

This block supports inputs and outputs of type double.
