quanser.hardware.hil.watchdog_clear

Clears the watchdog state.

Syntax

err = board.watchdog_clear

Description

Clears the watchdog state. When the watchdog timer expires, it resets the outputs of the board to the values configured using the watchdog_set_xxxx_expiration_state functions. It also disables further writes to the outputs of the board. This function re-enables the outputs of the board.

If no err output is provided then it throws an exception if an error occurs. In generated code it prints the error message. Use hil_get_error_message to get the message associated with an error code.

Parameters

board

The board instance returned by the quanser.hardware.hil.open function.

Outputs

err

A negative error code or zero on success.
