Description

Vision Save Image

The Vision Save Image block saves an image to the specified file. This block automatically generates an increasing index for the input image obtained at each sample instance and adds the index to the end of the specified filename.

In order to use this block, be sure to follow the instructions described on the Vision Capture Image page, and take careful note of the limitations.

Input Ports

A handle to an image that uses OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision) IplImage structure.

Output Ports

This signal is negative in case of error.

Parameters and Dialog Box

Vision Save Image

Image name

Name of the image to be saved. The image is saved in JPEG file format. For example, the image name "/media/card/pictures/" indicates that the image sequence is saved under "/media/card/pictures/" folder with filenames 0000000001.jpg, 0000000002.jpg, and so on.

Sample time

The sample time of the block. A sample time of 0 indicates that the block will be treated as a continuous time block. A positive sample time indicates that the block is a discrete time block with the given sample time. A sample time of -1 indicates that the block inherits its sample time.
