Advanced Communication VIs

The Advanced Communication VIs are the lowest level VIs in relation to the Basic and Intermediate Communication VIs. They consist of a set of VIs that allow the most flexibility in performing communications. The Advanced Communication VIs support both blocking and non-blocking I/O, polling, as well as opening up the possibility of creating servers that handle multiple client connections in addition to providing more fine-grained control of buffering.
