Force Feedback Game Controller Blocks
QUARC supplies a novel set of blocks which allow devices on the host system to be used in a model running on the target system, even if the host and target are not the same computer. Most host device blocks only stream device information from the host to the target. However, the host force feedback game controller blocks provide two-way interaction. Not only is information about the game controller position, sliders, buttons and point-of-view hats sent from the host to the target, but the target can control the forces exerted by the game controller on the host, resulting in a fully interactive experience, even when the real-time code is running on an embedded system!
