Quanser's virtual plants allow the full dynamics of Quanser hardware to be simulated and animated without having the actual hardware. This blockset is particularly useful for trying out various control strategies without the risk of damaging the real device. The blocks also allow students to prepare for laboratories in advance in order to minimize the actual time spent in the laboratory and maximize the use of university resources.
