This page shows which Quanser data acquisition cards are supported by RPC and what HIL functions are available for each of those cards. When accessing multiple channel types, it is more efficient to use a single mixed read or write function to read or write all the desired channels, rather than multiple instances of the more specific functions, such as read analog or write analog. If only one type of channel is being accessed then the more specific functions are more efficient. Basically, the fewer VIs that are used to perform I/O, the better. For the same number of VIs, the more specific functions are generally more efficient.
