QUARC 2023 SP3
These release notes describe the new features and changes introduced in QUARC 2023 SP3. They are divided into the sections enumerated below.
New Features
The new features introduced in QUARC 2023 SP3 are mentioned below.
A single model can now be deployed to multiple targets (e.g. multiple QBot Platforms) by deploying to one target, then disconnect, change the model URI to another target, then deploy to the new target. This facilitates swarm deployment where all the individual target in a swarm run the exact same model.
Added support for the Sharp LS027B7DH01 display to the LCD Display block. Both images and text are supported.
New Cards Supported
The full list of all the data acquisition cards supported by QUARC 2023 SP3 is given by the following link. QUARC 2023 SP3 may now also interface to the cards listed below.
Added support for the Quanser QBot Platform device.
Added support for the Quanser QArm Mini card.
Improved Features
Some of the features improved in QUARC 2023 SP3 are enumerated below. There are a great many miscellaneous improvements that have not been listed. Only some of the highlights are listed below.
Added support to the Image Convert block for converting from YUV420 to MATLAB RGB. Also added a Sobel filter to the Image Filter block, supporting uint8, uint16 and single data types.
The KUKA LBR FRI Timebase block now also supports the KUKA Sunrise.FRI (Fast Robot Interface) extension version 2.5 and the KUKA LBR Med 7 and LBR Med 14 lightweight cobots, with a 1-ms update period. Furthermore, the Cartesian pose (quaternion) and Cartesian pose (matrix) control modes have been added.
The KUKA RSI block now supports the KR C5 KUKA robot controllers and the KUKA.RobotSensorInterface (RSI) version 5.0.
Added sample time parameter to the LCD Display block, which allows the LCD to be updated at a different rate than the model base sample time (since the LCD would normally be updated at a much lower rate).
A new "query" (<<) button has been added to the Video Capture, Video3D Initialize and Video3D Capture blocks that shows the cameras supported on the current target as well as their resolutions and frame rates.
Qube-Servo 3 HIL driver update to work with firmware that fixes encoder race conditions.

The following shows the miscellaneous changes in QUARC 2023 SP3.
The HIL integer propery PROPERTY_INTETGER_FIRMWARE_REVISION has been renamed to PROPERTY_INTEGER_HARDWARE_VERSION.
